An annual event, but a new and exciting Reverse Raffle format. You won't want to miss out! Call 330-332-2600 to get your tickets today. Space is limited!
Our primary fundraiser is on October 2, called the R.O.C.C. and Rescue Reverse Raffle (Reduce Overpopulation of Cats and Canines). The theme is Film and Entertainment and will be promoted as a Red Carpet Event. Attendees will have the option to dress in Red Carpet style if they chose. Our shelter pets are showcased in Movie Posters.
As an organization, we partner with vendors, artisans and businesses to create win-win situations for promotion and support of all involved.

HSCC would LOVE to have you or your business involved with this event, held in a rustic, beautiful setting at The Barn just north of Salem,Ohio. Would you be willing to donate a gift certificate or item we could include in our event?

Zenia Needs Your Help!

ZeniaOur beautiful little Zenia is in need of some very serious surgery. She has a tumor pressing on her bladder. She is a dear, sweet girl whose goal in life is to please….even when she has to “go” right now!! If you would like to help Zenia, please make a donation in her name. At HSCC, finances are extremely tight. We cannot do what we do to help and protect animals like Zenia and the others without your support.

Animal Cruelty Taskforce (ACT) of Columbiana County

The Animal Cruelty Taskforce (ACT) of Columbiana County has been created in an effort to affect change through collaboration and the exchange of information. “Target Areas” are irresponsible breeding, pet overpopulation are animal cruelty and neglect.

  • Participants will include, but are not limited to representatives of: Government and Legislative Affairs, Law Enforcement, Community and Civic Groups, Local Business, Educators, Veterinary Community, Agricultural Community, Animal and Pet Related Organizations, and the General Public.
  • A top priority it to provide education to participants and the public on issues that impact the “Target Areas” (see above).
  • Exchange of Information will be practiced in an effort to prevent and minimize potential problems or “hot spots” in addition to the maximizing the benefits derived from such exchange.
  • Mobilize the public to action by rejecting the status-quo.
  • Elevate the current standards of animal welfare to a level of reasonable expectation.
  • Discourage negative behavior and hold the non-compliant financially and legally responsible.
