Rocco (formerly Bert)

Rocco was born on 12/30/09 and was adopted by Chris and I in April of 2010. Rocco (previously known as bert) was brought in with his mother (natalia), father (boris), and brother (ernie). Rocco completed our little family and we can’t imagine a day without him. He is the happiest little guy around and is loved by everyone who meets him! Attached are some before and after photos. Thank you for all the work that you do and for bringing us Rocco!

Artie
Just an update on the basset hound, Artie, whom we adopted last week. He’s doing great in family. He fits right in. His behavior has been good as well.  We really enjoy his company, and even our cat, Oreo, is beginning to adjust to him being here.

Attached is a picture of him in his “reindeer” outfit.  He was a good sport about it, but every time I bring out the camera, he lies down for a belly scratch!

Abby (formerly Reagan)

We adopted Reagan on Wednesday and she’s brought us nothing but joy. She’s adjusting well and very comfortable in her “forever” home. She even seems to like her girly pink collar. We’ve changed her name to Abby and she’s responding to it as well as the other training that we’ve started. Thanks for everything!

Riley (formerly Regis)

I am sending an update on Regis… now known as Riley… because he is “living the life of Riley”! Crossing the border was a breeze. We showed the guard Regis’s health certificate and there were no problems at all. … The weather has been beautiful for the last couple of weeks and we have taken some great walks in the bush. I have attached a couple of pictures so you can see him with his pack and how happy he is!!!

Please give our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Humane Society of Columbiana County that was involved in Riley’s rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing here in Canada. He is loved very much.

Kipper (formerly Ross)

Back in June, we adopted one of your puppies who was called Ross. I want to tell you what a perfect addition to our family this pup, now called Kipper, has been to our family. We can’t imagine having ever been without him.

Zoey (formerly Bella) and Captain

I wanted to email you pictures of the two kittens we adopted a little over a year ago. The female was named Bella now Zoey and the male was Captain and is still Captain. Captain weighs about 15 pounds and is such a lovey dovey and is so layed back and funny. … Now Zoey is another story. She is very affectionate, BUT only on her own terms. Most of the time, she is in “kill” mode. She is crazy funny, but is so beautiful. We love them and cherish each moment with them.

Wilbur (formerly Harrison)

hello! I just wanted to send an email saying how great things are going with harrison! I changed his name to Wilbur, but his middle name is harrison :o ) He seems to be done with his “marking” problem. We went camping over memorial day weekend and he was fantastic! He swam in the river and played with a few other dogs there. He gets some pretty bad separation anxiety when I leave him but I think that will just take some time to go away. Just wanted to update you guys, I couldn’t be happier with my little friend!!! ;o)
