Ghost

Ghost is a 630 pound colt in need of medical care. Due to confidentiality, details can not be discussed. This 4yr old has a body score count of 1 on a scale of 1-9, 1 being poor( extremely emaciated; no fatty tissue; vertebrae, ribs, tail head, bones of withers, shoulder, and neck are visible) and 9 being very fat. The ideal range for most horses is 4-6. The estimate amount of care needed to bring Ghost back to a healthy body condition is over $2000( so far we have raised $300) . That includes initial medical care from last night, follow up farm calls, teeth floating, gelding when strong enough, hay, grain, wormer and farrier services. Ghost needs your help to regain strength and enjoy greener pastures. If you can help and donate toward his care, please go to www.columbianahumane.organd click the donate button. Thank you.

Can You Help Us Help Duke?

Duke
Duke was looked at today by Dr Brooks and some of her staff. Duke is a 6-7 year old Cattle Dog. Less than 6 months ago Duke had to have surgery to remove his front leg. This did not slow him down one bit. The spirit and will of this boy is amazing! Now, Duke is back at the vet facing another surgery. He got loose outside and was ran over by his former owner’s car. It is a miracle that Duke has no broken bones. X-rays showed a little bruising in the lungs that hospital staff is monitoring along with a dislocated hip that can only be repaired with surgery. The cost is $900 (with donations current total is $775) Any and all donations are excepted and greatly appreciated. Our vet feels that after surgery Duke should make a full recovery and be up for adoption. Can you help us reach our goal to help Duke? His surgery is scheduled for Friday.
